Kirk Karamanian
The maritime industry is one of the oldest in the United States, likewise the laws governing shipping, fishing, trade, crewmen and the like are an ancient, complex labyrinth of information. Just as there are lawyers for business or divorce, we are maritime lawyers. We have been practicing maritime law for most of our professional lives, and we have the winning record to prove it.

Kirk is a cum laude graduate of the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Law, where he was also a member of the Justice Frank Murphy Honor Society. He is a Proctor in Admiralty, and his practice is devoted almost exclusively to representation of crew members in maritime personal injury matters, longshoremen, and civilian contractors injured overseas covered by the Defense Base Act.
